Akmeshit Cave – Forest in a cave
The Akmeshit cave with a forest of mulberry trees is a natural wonder in the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan.
Walking down the stairs into Akmeshit Cave is like stepping into another world. It’s so unreal to have a small green forest with mulberry trees in a huge cave – in the middle of the yellow-brown rocky and dry steppe.
