We went to Uzbekistan to see nice places of Tashkent and Samarkand. The first drive was from Shymkent to Tashkent. It’s around 130 km and took around 2 hours (without time at border control). So let’s have a look on our photo Gallery of “From Tashkent To Samarkand”.
In Tashkent one of the nice sights of this city is Amir Temur Park. And close to this park you can visit the Amir Temur Museum.
And when we wanted to go to the hotel, all internet apps and taxis recommended Uzbekistan Hotel in Tashkent. What about quality of this hotel – it’s just Ok. We would like to give to this hotel a 5 out of 10 as a customer. But as a soviet architectural building – it’s worth to see it.We liked Uzbekistan TV tower very much. And we recommend it to visit. Watching above Tashkent.It was 2 days trip. We could enjoy the nice places of Tashkent and Samarkand. This one is one of the nice place of Tashkent, park Tashkent Arbat. After Tashkent we went to Samarkand. The distance between Tashkent and Samarkand is around 310 kilometers and needs about 4 hours and 30 minutes. When we came from Tashkent to Samarkand, we decided to visit some historical places such as: Amur Temur, Doniar ata, Imam Al Bukhari mausoleums.We enjoyed this view from the Garden around the tomb of the former president of Uzbekistan – Islam Karimov. You can see in the center of the Skyline of Samarkand the old mosque of Bibi Khanym.Khidr Mosque of Samarkand and home of the tomb of Islam Karimov.Panorama of Shah-i-Zinda at the main court. This is a main sight of Samarkand.Main path of Shah-i-Zinda. To visit the Mausoleum of Imam Al Bukhari we took another drive because the Mausoleum is located in the suburbs of Samarkand.
It was interesting to go to Imam Al Bukhari’s Mausoleum. Because here is not only a tomb, there is also a nice green garden and mosque next to the tomb.

After the long trip we decided to go to a restaurant in Taschkent.
Enjoyed the meal like manti and plov. Mmm…Delicious! And we wathced on TV nice advertising video about Uzbekistan.Here we drinked warm tea, talking about our trip to Tashkent and Samarkand.
